With the exhibition “Shifting Shapes” the bechter kastowsky gallery shows the third solo exhibition of Liliane Tomasko in Vienna.
“During the painting process, I bind the hidden and fleeting to the body of paint: all feelings, thoughts, emotions, desires, fears, doubts and anxieties are collected and formed into linear structures in order to take center stage on the painted surface. There they bounce off each other, merge and mix or are separated by sprayed or painted lines that range from wafer-thin to massive.”
